a new goal

I hopped on the scale today and I nearly threw up. I am up 10 pounds from when I started my weight loss journey. That's gross, and I am out of excuses. So, I am starting on April 1st with my first goal.  I want to loose 50 pounds by September 1st.

I am going to do this by:
  • Counting my calories using MyFitnessPal.
  • Follow the 80/20 eating rule.  I am going to eat strictly according to my diet 80% of the time and for 20% I am going to allow myself some grace.
  • I am going to be kind to myself.
  • I am going to get out of bed and exercise, again 5 out of 7 days of the week.
  • I am going to limit my sugars and bread/pasta/carbs
  • I am going to turn back on my calorie counter and work to burn 3000 calories a day.
  • I will blog once a week on my progress, successes, and failures.  I will be 100% honest.
